room issues and location advantages
small room elevator problem
The room WAS small, almost claustrophobic. i had difficulty moving around with my luggage. the elevator situation was also annoying. It did not directly reach EACH floor. i had to lug my bags up or down a half-flight of STAIRS each time. this made arrival and departure a real pain.

fabulous location beautiful decoration lovely staff
i found the location fabulous. the decoration seemed beautiful throughout the hotel. it felt clean and fresh everywhere. i appreciated the well-stocked fridge in the room. the 24-hour reception staff was lovely and helped with my phone adapter.
the room was rather small. this seemed quite normal for the area, however.

charming stay near notre dame
quiet area helpful staff
i found the location superb, offering quick access to major sites. it's surrounded by excellent restaurants in a quiet area. staff was helpful and i received good service. wifi worked well .
the elevator stops between floors, so you must walk up or down some steps. this made carrying my luggage a little DIFFICULT. next time, I'll pack lighter to avoid this inconvenience.

armed guards hotel refusal
The location was good. A shuttle taxi from Gare du Nord was arranged on arrival.
I booked two rooms, prepaying a few days before the olympics. The streets were closed off with armed guards. You needed a QR code to get near the hotel. The hotel refused to come get us, even though it was 100 meters away (unacceptable).
